Twelve autograph manuscripts in various unidentified hands and nineteen printed items bound in one volume. The manuscript documents, reports, and tables date from 1720 to 1721, and pertain to French banking, finance, manufacturing, and shipping. The printed items, which comprise three-quarters of the volume, document the court proceedings of a restraint of trade case brought against the director of the Compagnie de la Chine and his colleagues by grocers and apothecaries of Paris, and presented before the Parlement de Paris in 1721.
